1. In what way do state aid rules influence planning of the project?

   State aid rules are referred to in Chapter 2.4.7 of the Guidelines for Applicants for information purposes and relevant for Hungarian Project Partners only. In every case, the state aid rules to be applied to projects awarded a subsidy will be determined during the evaluation phase. In this process, projects will be assessed on activity level. When planning your Application, be aware that if an individual project activity falls under the state aid, this might result in a change of the intensity of the support for the whole project part to be implemented by a respective Project Partner. 2. At what exchange rate do previously granted de minimis amounts have to be converted to EUR?

   According to Paragraph 36 (4) of the Decree No. 5/2009 of the Hungarian Ministry of National Development and Economy, previously granted de minimis amounts have to be converted into EUR at the median exchange rate published by the Hungarian National Bank with a precision of two decimals, valid at the last day of the month preceding the date of the grant decision. 3. What will happen if one of the Project Partners planned an activity which falls under the rules of Regional investment and employment aid and can be supported by a maximun intensity rate of 50%?

   In case a Project Partner has an activity which can be supported by a maximum intensity rate of 50%, the respective Project Partner's whole project part will be eligible for support by the same intensity rate. In other words, only 50% of the total eligible budget will be financed by the support.
